Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, The Enchanted are gaining respect at the forefront of the English Metal scene. Originally formed in 1997, The Enchanted have diversified and intensified their sound, proving to be one of the most exciting and unpredictable bands in the United Kingdom. Hard-working and renowned in no small part for their blistering live performances, The Enchanted have played numerous gig's up and down the UK and Ireland and hope to travel further afield in the near future. They have been well received wherever they play, and are guaranteed to get the audience tapping their feet - if not head-banging furiously! The Enchanted released their debut album "Trust in Death and Rebirth" (recorded at Akercocke's Goat of Mendes studios) in March 2002, receiving excellent review's in Mag's and Zine's including Terrorizer and Power Play. As well as this The Enchanted were voted 5th "Best Newcomer" and Fourth "Best unsigned act" of 2002 in the Terrorizer readers poll. Prior to the release of the Album The Enchanted played the Terrorizer Xmas bash, in support of Impaled Nazarene, also show casing a promo track on a Terrorizer CD. Since the album The Enchanted have had a full page interview in Terrorizer as well as interviews and cover tracks with other mags and zines. Recently signing a record contract with Golden Lake Productions. The Enchanted will be releasing an EP titled "For those who fall..." soon and their second album later this year.
