Sometime in February 2003, Rotten Anal Enema was born. Less than six months later their debut album "Always respond promptly to the urge to defecate" is finished. R.A.E. is nothing more than an accident waiting to happen, and it has happened. It all started as an experiment. Playing with drum beats, noises, synths, effects, distorted guitars and growling vocals. Our heroes (the only confirmed members of R.A.E.) Phil-Vocals/Guitars, Lilly-Bass and Herby-percussion/noise (herby is not a human being! haha that is what we call the drum machine), set out to create something new and sick. The finished product was a grave yard resurrection of musical tales of lust, pornography, mass murdering pimps and players, and masturbating in church. And that is just the a brief description of the demo. The full length CD? That is a whole different story. This CD is one of the most experimental projects you will ever hear. So many different styles and influences go in to this masterpiece of mental depravation.
This isn't music for people who want to dissect and compare it to the bands they like. Every song on this CD was written in the hope that people will not like it. It was written for the pure enjoyment of being sick in the head and not giving a damn about what any one thinks. If you like it that's great if not we don't care! The songs on this CD were also written to give trendy mall kids bad trips on acid. We recommend you don't listen to this CD when using hallucinogenic drugs! All band members are probably from Texas, and if not, do live in Texas. Although other people were/are involved in this project, they wish to remain anonymous at this time. We can not be held responsible for anyone who commits suicide, rapes farm animals, masturbates in church, kills gang bangers, practices S&M, or dismembers their families, after listening to this music! Please use extreme caution when listening to this CD, it is not for the weak minded or easily influenced!
