In June 2002,
Aeturnus, a Brazilian guitar player in the metal scene since 1995 conceived
a black metal band, struck by the fascination of the Raw Black Metal Sound.
In March 2003, with a defined line-up Opus Draconis recorded their first
work "Necrodesecration of Christendom" a MCD released by Sephiroth
Prod. (Brazil) and Dark Profanation Prod. (Portugal).
In January 2004 with a new line up they released the split MCD "Enslave
by light" by Dark Profanation Prod. In March the Brazilian label
Vergasta Records released a compilation of 2 MCDs as a CD entitled "The
Blasphemy is my Throne". In the end of 2004 witha new singer they
finished the recordings of the first full length CD "Satanic Truth
About False Union".
"Satanic Truth About False Union" is a high quality record with
massive production and songs of extreme brutality that will lead the band
to a new dimension.
In October th 2004 the bass player Geryon moves to Finland, Vlad Bifron
is the new bass player of the Opus Draconis.
