BANDS : Litham(ALG)/Stormy Night(B)
PLACE : The Phoenix– Liége (B)

It's with a huge pleasure that we've welcomed Litham (in an exceptional Belgian tour) on that cold and rainy day in January 4th 2004. It is in front of a panel of curious and of accustomed crowd that Litham opened hostilities.
They made us discover the Algerian metal with their album "DHAL ENNAR" An excellent benefit led of master hand by Redouane their " front man ".The furious death metal riffs following other more melodic or even psychedelic ones without forgetting the ultimate scale of Algerian music giving to their music a very particular ambiance .The only little negative point was for sure the absence of a second guitarist during the solos … Litham even had right to one recall that they did for our bigger pleasure.
Noticed by the enthusiasm of the public and the number of sold demos, Litham has without doubt seduced many listeners that night!!
After a beer & peeing pause, came the turn of Stormy Night. Knowing the band since a certain time, I can say that they have run through a long path since their beginning and that they found a sure value in Phil Letawe as singer.
They played a show that I would qualify as classic, altering compositions and covers (Helloween, Accept…). The present choirs on certain songs didn't miss punch and the heavy riffs gave desire to move, although on the whole there was a lack of originality. It seemed to me as that was not one of their best shows but we spent pleasant moment while listening to their music.
Stormy Night is here to keep sounding the good old heavy metal in our city of Liege.
