1994 : HORRESCO REFERENS releases a first demo-tape :“ IN DARKNESS I GROW ”. This demo-tape is based on the work of “ death ” voices.
1995 : The quartet goes on with many concerts in many towns across the country but also in Belgium and in Portugal. Increasing his experience, the band headlines several gigs with local bands and also opens for Disaffected, S.U.P., Gomorrah, Tortharry, Genocide, Decayed, Loudblast, Coroner...
1996 : HORRESCO REFERENS releases a promo-tape (3 tracks, recorded and engineered in 24 hours) for radios, bands, zines, clubs in order to spread their new style of music. The band decides to record a mini-C.D.
1997 : During this winter, HORRESCO REFERENS records it’s concept-album “ The Cesspit... ” instead of the mini-CD. This nine tracks album has been produced by Stéphane Buriez at the L.B. LAB of Roncq (59). The title “ In The Mists ” appears on the Yvelive CD compilation. The band headlines two festivals in Spain and Portugal .
1998 : The band ends its self-produced album, and to promote it the has to perform wherever it’s possible…
1999 : In February “ The Cesspit… ” is finally out. It is now available in several music shops, and in a lot of CD mailorder worldwide( Holy records, Season of mist, Polymorph Records, Shiver Records(Bel), Jackhammer Music(Jap), Majestic Union Records(Ger)…)
2000 : Many times the line-up has changed and the band will lose too much time! A consequence is that the band won’t be able to perform all year long. The band starts again from zero at the end of the year with Pascal as Bass player and Nicolas (another one) behind the drums.
2001 : During early summer the line-up has changed again. Nicolas, finally leaves the band, and David from Loci inferni took the vacant place and his ex-guitarist, Guillaume, join the band at the same time as lead guitarist. The band is now complete and back to work…
2002 : The second album, « …of our souls. » is on the way. It will be finished for the end of year… The band performs with many band, like Notre-Dame to prepare the release of this album in early 2003
2003: The band is signed on the ANVIL.CORP label and get a deal with the tour booker ROCKSQUADinc. The album is distributed by Wagram. The official release is scheduled for 14th April. The band is booked on several dates ( Portugal, Spain, Belgium…) with many bands ( Enthroned, Master,Vanden Plas… )
