BIOGRAPHY
The
Band was formed in 2003 by Sherif Marzeban (rhythm guitars) and Ahmed
Essam (vocals).
We never intended to take this band seriously; we just wanted to play some death metal music.We started searching for other band members, adding Khaled Ashraf (bass) and Fady Hany (drums), we then started playing some covers jamming and all the usual.Then we came up with the idea of heading to a new direction which was to play our own music, and that we are tired of playing covers. So we decided to play our stuff.We came up with the idea of recording our first demo (Destruction).
HateSuffocation is a very weird name for a band, "We Know That" but here's the thing, we wanted to explain how we feel and what others feel, hatred is a very common thing and we are " SICK AND FUCKING TIRED OF IT !!! " so we decided to name the band HateSuffocation.
Recording the demo was major step for us because we gained some experience, but unfortunately the sound quality of the recording was not that professional and we were not satisfied . Though during the process of recording the demo Sherif had quite a good contacts in Poland, Adam drummer of Sothoth and Mutilation, two quite famous bands in Poland, we decided to send our demo to a record label and we won't mention the name of the record label for some fucked up reasons, and they said that they would take a look at it.
At the time Sherif was traveling to Poland to see Adam and check what's up with the record label.
Unfortunately, they listened to our demo and it was not that good (it sucked big balls), BUT they wanted to hear more music with Ahmed Essam cause they liked his vocaling very much, so we are supposed to record something good and perform it, maybe hopefully we will signup!!! Our performance is at the end of JULY 2005.
So our current status with the record label is stable BUT not official yet HOPEFULLY INSHA2ALLAH, so any further new regarding the recording will be added in the news page.
Through the process of recording, former drummer Fady Hany was not part of the band anymore and Hatem el Akkad (drums) and Ramy Sedky (lead guitars) were added as new members of HateSuffocation.
