Almost 9
years have passed since the formation of Essatic. After finding the right
members, Essatic introduces their first demo, "Deposition".
They got a good response which delivered some great shows.
Sept.'97: Essatic goes through some setup changes, drummer David Bourdon
and gitarist Philippe Tack are now new members of the crew. Quickly after
their appearance, a new demo arrises " Grabbing For The Bottle".
1998: Another setup change went on. This time a new singer (Peter Bogaert),
guitarist (Tom Van Cauwenberghe) and bass player (David Hugelier) were
added. As you could imagine..this wasn't the Essatic like before.. but
trashmetal at its best!!
'99: Dark clouds surrounded Essatic. Their rehearsal got ruined by a flood.
We're not talking about some inches..but water from floor to ceiling!!
Amps, speakers, drums, among other gear got seriously damaged and all
had to be replaced!
2000: Musicians from the regions united and organised a benefit concert
to support Essatic. Bands like "Angry Eye" and "The Flying
Suitcases" helped a lot!
2001: Essatic was back in bussiness. And to show the world that they weren't
defeated, a new demo cd was released at the end of the year: "Biting
the Bullet" is far out their most aggressive work.
Who will tell what 2002 will bring for these guys, but one thing's for
sure... You haven't seen the end of this band yet!
Essatic already gigged with: Poseydon, Altar, Oceans Of Sadness, Angry
Eye, Roadkill, Nephritis, Patriarch, Sengir, Mesomorph,......
