BIOGRAPHY
It
started when the Former (Noor /guitars) met the ex-drummer of the band
(firas) at the Uni… and agreed to form a thrash metal band influenced
by the guitarist's favourite band ( SLAYER ) .
They started rehearses at the Uni... Then the two guys realized that they need another talented guitarist who can play slayer's solos, which they found in(Marwan/ guitars ) . so Obviously they needed a bassist whom was ( Fadi/ ex bassist ) the first song was played by this new-born band is slayer's ( seasons in the abyss ) after two weeks of jamming around all together,( Mohammed / bass / vocals) joined the band and the Thrash started Out !!
5 covers from the Old school thrash metal bands were played by them in two gigs and became the first band in Jordan to play such type of speedy aggressive smashing thrash fucking metal...

After a while, Firas and fadi left the band for they didn't want to go concern, while the main aim for the rest of the guys is forming a real effective thrash metal music and to take place in metal world
so soon ( Marwan/guitars ) talked to his friend ( Ibraheem/drums ) about the Project and he was interested with the whole idea to the limit of joining the band immediatly as he was influenced by ( Dave lombardo / Slayer ) ...
PURGATORY used to be the bands first name , but the guys found out that the name was being used by Three bands in the metal community , so ( Mohammed/ bass / vocals ) came up with the name ESODIC ( the transporters of actions from outside effecting directly the center) which something the band thanks Matt for ...
August /2002... Esodic started their own stuff with the first song (dawn of victory) came out April 2003 .with their first recorded CD containing 2 demo songs which BUSTED the whole metal community in jordan...
A local producer was interested in this demo. So he offered to record a whole album for the band with some interesting stuff, but they didn't want it this way. ESODIC wanted to continue their stuff before having any offers, so they started walking their path on. A full length album (THE SECRET), lyrics by Matt, Containing 8 songs soon will be recorded and available...
