Sincerely,at the
first listening to this demo we're a little bit lost, cause we don't really
know in which domain does this band evolve., that starts with Thrash/Death to
continue on a kind of oriental progressive Power/Thrash!
Anyway, let's pass the tags and let's rather concentrate on what does this band
offer : it begins with an intro with drums (in short a rythme box to be accurate)we
go for the 1st track which sounds a bit Thrash/Death on which the guitar is
the main element keeping tight the attention, with an aggressive singing which
is not especially original but that holds nevertheless the road and still this
hammering of the rhythm box that ends up giving a little nausea, the band would
have opted for a less electronic sound and a few less put forward. The track
chains up with the same rhythmic and ends by a little solo.
Next, the group springs in what is concidered as progressive Power/Thrash with
these typically Prog' passages on guitar and still with this drums sound that
comes to waste the ambiance,
decidedly the band should program his rhythmbox much better cause along,it ends
up by bothering the system, remain that the guitar is there alowing us to appreciate
the rest.
the singing goes from agressive to sharper, and on the 3rd track we notice a
female vocal coming to embellish the atmosphere of the demo and giving it a
little originality adding to the "oriental power/prog" side always
omnipresent all along the tracks "My Suicide", "The Villain's
Demise" and "Guillotine".
To conclude, the band dives once again in its thrash/death on "summer's
end" much more brutal than the 1st track and more varied on guitar with
a good intro reminding me IRON MAIDEN's song called "wasted years"
if my memories are good.
Finally we notice that it's a good demo even if the band has to improve some
of its musical aspects, they also have to head toward a type of composition,
cause sincerely , we're a little bit lost by this mixture of kinds after lending
an ear to this demo.
