Collision was founded in April ‘00 by the singers Björn and Tammi. In September ’00, the first line-up was completed and rehearsals were started.
After a few line-up changes Collision started playing some blasting live shows full of energy and aggression.
Collision plays a aggressive ‘collision’ between grindcore and hardcore, with thrash metal influences.
Collision recorded their first (demo-)cd in May, it is called: “Miserable, Squashed, Dead’’ and sold over 250 copies. Collision also did lots of compilation cd’s and tapes.
In ‘01 and ‘02 Collision did some great gigs in Holland, together with bands like Inhume, Sanitys Dawn, Cephalic Carnage, Pungent Stench, Aborted, Agathocles and more! Collision also played at the Obscene Extreme fest in the Czech republic. A mini tour is also planned for september ‘03.
New recordings for the album: 'Romantic display of love' are finished in april ‘03, the album is recorded by Erwin ‘let’s get mangled’ Hermsen. This piece of brutal Thrash 'n Grindcore will be released through Bizarre Leprous Productions!!
